A large variety of florals will be provided to press into the clay for a unique and beautiful surface decoration! Arrange a mini bouquet to take home from the extras!

Join local artist & educator, Shelly Svonavec, for an inspiring afternoon using flowers and leaves to create beautifully textured ceramic art. What you make is up to you-jewelry dish, wall hanging/shelf, snack tray, pinch cups ! Lots of ideas below. This workshop tends to run 2 hours but may be a little less or more based on the person- no rush.

Workshop Includes

• All Materials and Tools:

  • Ceramic Clay: Stoneware mid-fire, Off-White with grit, food safe

  • Glazes: A variety of glaze offerings- choose 1 for Shelly to glaze for you.

  • Tools: All tools needed to hand build & add texture

• Instruction and Guidance:

  • Expert Instruction: Step-by-step guidance from professional artist, Shelly Svonavec in her private studio

• Firing and Finishing:

  • Glazing & Kiln Firing: Your pieces will be glazed, fired, and sanded to completion.

• Refreshments:

  • Beverages: A variety of beverages will be provided. Feel free to BYOB too!

This is the perfect stress relieving night so feel free to come alone or snag a few friends to come with. While no experience is needed, this is also a great chance to build upon your past experiences/workshops to create something really cool.
