Join local artist & educator, Shelly Svonavec, for a creative night creating a set of trays! Theme it for the Fall season with underglaze transfers, use it for jewelry, or make the perfect plate & dip set. Choose your own adventure! Tap through to see past workshop samples.

In her private artist studio, Shelly will guide the participants through a variety of hand building techniques with the option to add surface decoration with texture and/or underglaze transfers. This workshop tends to run 2 hours but may be a little less or more based on the person- no rush.

Workshop Includes

• All Materials and Tools:

  • Ceramic Clay: Stoneware mid-fire, Off-White with grit, food safe

  • Glazes: A variety of glaze offerings- choose 1 or 2 for Shelly to glaze for you

  • Tools: All tools needed to hand build & add texture

• Instruction and Guidance:

  • Expert Instruction: Step-by-step guidance from professional artist, Shelly Svonavec in her private studio

• Firing and Finishing:

  • Glazing & Kiln Firing: Your pieces will be glazed, fired, and sanded to completion.

• Refreshments:

  • Beverages: A variety of beverages will be provided. Feel free to BYOB too!

This is the perfect stress relieving night so feel free to come alone or snag a few friends to come with. While no experience is needed, this is also a great chance to build upon your past experiences/workshops to create something really cool.
